Small Clone 9v Adapter Question

I just switched out the old 1/8" jack for a Boss style jack. I reconnected all the wires up to their respective terminals, and when I go to plug in my adapter the unit doesn't work. The adapter I used was a Dunlop 9v 200ma neg tip. Any Ideas? The unit still run on a battery so the wiring must be correct, the power supply must be screwy.

But the power supply worked before and you changed the wiring... so most likely it's the wiring that is wrong.
Can't you just try the power supply with something else, check the wiring again and then post a voltage reading or two?
