Hi friends,
Since the gain pot at these circuits just control
the signal ammount which passes to the rest of
circuit, can I use a 500k(A) pot without change in
the final sound? What do you think about it?

Thanks

As far as I know, it won't change the sound. It'll change the range / sensitivity

Looking at the schem I see it like a voltage divider,
so, the signal can be send at all (all resistence to ground)
or divided (some resistence to signal and some to ground).

I don't how to explain, my english is so poor. I think about it
like a relative division, so 500k to ground and 500k to signal
will pass half signal (50%) in a 1M pot, the same is true to
a 500k pot...250k to ground and 250k to signal will pass the
same 50% of original signal.

So, I want to know if this is really the true, or the signal division
works in a different way in the real world. You know, when
electronics comes to sound, somethings are not so clear.

Thanks
