where can you get pink/yellow diodes as used in MIJ SD-1 ????

Anyone know where I can get some of those pink/yellow diodes used in the MIJ SD-1s? Anyone know the part number?

They are most unlikely to be different (electronically) to a 1N4148 (or maybe a 1N400X (where X is commonly 1, 4 or 7)).

Brett, I've tried swapping them out with 1N4148s that have the same breakover voltage and there is a difference, it's subtle but then again they always are when we're talking pedal mods.

thanks, I'll give 'em a try.  I found a factory schematic that lists them as 1S2473s - some Japanese part I'd imagine that's nigh on impossible to find now.

the pink/yellow ones do look prettier though - I WANT!!! I WANT!!! I WANT!!! I WANT!!!
