FX-25B Mod

A while ago I bought a DOD FX 25B off of someone with the hopes to use it as my envelope filter and later found out how crappy this pedal was, its just not to my liking.  It seems that the only way you can get a decent response out of it is if you max out all of the knobs.  Does anyone know of any mods for this pedal?  and maybe where I could get the schematics for the mods maybe?  I know this pedal will never sound like a Moog but that would be the sound I would be heading towards if that helps.  THANKS!!
