I have a DOD YJM-308 . . .
I bought a RoHS compliant 3PDT True Bypass switch (blue Electro-Harmonix), and now I want to install this switch & add an LED.
I'm looking for the best sound, with no clicks or pops when I switch it on/off.
I have a few diagrams for wiring -- Which diagram is the best to follow, or is there a better one :icon_question:

What's the best resistor to use between the LED and DC Jack --  METAL FILM??? :icon_question:
Which LED is better, 3mm or 5mm, and will the resistor's value need to be changed depending on what size LED I use??? :icon_question:
And lastly, what's the BEST Resistor VALUE (I've read many different opinions): 2.2K, 1K ohm :icon_question:
Is there anything else special I need to do??? :icon_question:
Thanks so much for all your help - Cheers . . . ;D

I know I'm late with this, maybe it could be useful to someone...

This is the original wiring

I wrote it in italian, being italian...Basicly it's  L to R high to low
dalla batteria nero = black from battery
viola = purple
grigio - alla basetta = grey - to pcb
nero alla basetta = black to pcb
nero = black

This is the modified wiring

again, it's
dalla basetta = from pcb
nero = black
grigio = grey
verde = green
viola = purple
bianco = white
rosso = red

So you know italian colors too now!!!  ;D
Hope that helps...

true bypassing and modding another one, images are gone but anyway
purple is the input
black is the output
from the pcd we have
grey wire is fx in
black is fx out
green is 9V
white is ground.

this one has now a 1k instead of the 4.7k as R1 and a switch for the diodes (original/red LEDs)
