Quick sourcing question: I'm wanting to find some chrome (or shiny aluminum) knobs -- but they MUST be 1/2 in diameter with 1/4-in shafts. The only ones I can ind are Mouser part 450-6003, and they're calling them "natural," so i assume they aren't shiny.

Anyone know of any place to find these little buggers?

TIA

I've got a lot of aluminum knobs at home that i don't plan on using and it seems they're about that size.  I'll check when I get home and drop you a line w/ pics.

I don't see any 1/2 chrome knobs on their site. The smallest I see is 15mm, which is .6 inches -- which is too big.

How about these:

These are aluminum and they're .5" wide and .675" tall.  They accept a 1/4" shaft and lock in place with 2 allen screws.  The bad news is that a lot of them are missing the set screws but I can get some more or you can do it.  If you just want a few I can make sure the ones you get have both screws.
If you like these shoot me an offer.  I've got 10 or so.

I have a few 1/2 inch chrome knobs somewhere.  They're straight sided and shinny.  I didn't use them as, with a 1/4 inch shaft, they don't cover the nut (+ washer if used) of the pot so they look a bit daft.  Something to consider...
