Hi y'all. Does anyone have a schematic or layout for this pedal please or any info please? The search function revealed that Mark Hammer posted a snippet once, but the URL has since expired. Thanks in advance.  :)

Are you referring to the Ted Fletcher/Joe Meek rack compressor, or the Marshall pedal? Either way, I can't help you. Just wanted to clarify.

I'd be interested in that, too. Assuming it is the Marshall pedal, it is a real sleeper, except for the crappy bypass. IIRC, it is a member of the Dynacomp family, with more control, better tonal and dynamic response and less noise. (I haven't used one in a while.)

I have one of the Marshall units with plans of.......dare I say......reversing it!  :icon_eek:
Haven't got to it yet though.

I am a fan of the Marshall Edward as well, and it spends a lot of time on my pedalboard. Running the risk of making them more valuable on Ebay, I think it's a real sleeper too. I really like the ability to slant the compression to affect the lows or highs. It's a subtle feature, but I find that it's a nice way to bring back some of the chiminess that goes missing with something like a Dynacomp.

The Ted Fletcher Edward on the other hand, has had my curiosity piqued since I first heard about it. I have yet to see one in the real world.

Another "sleeper" is the Aphex "Punch Factory" optical compressor ( Orange box ) - they've made a few pedals
and it's a well made device with an LED ladder to "view" the compression amount .... cool !
Di out with 48v phantom power option, ground lift and passive/active button for input.
5 to 32v AC or 7 to 48v DC  !!!
I picked up a used one for £60, a very high quality unit.
