Hey Guys,

I am in the middle of trying to figure this out. I am deciding to buy the microvibe to add to my multi effects unit. One problem is on the microvibe the jacks are soldered to the board...
How would I hook it straight up to the next board?

I know on other pedals just remove the jacks and wire them together, but I dont know what to do with this... any sugestions?

I am trying to not use cables ...

Thanks

Matt

If I understand right....

Desolder the PCB mounted jacks.

Use a continuity checker to figure out which jack contact goes to what lug.
Draw it, map a map.

The "ring" contact might not make continuity untill there is a plug inserted in the jack.

Solder your wire leads to the PCB pads based on what you learn from the continuity test.

Does this help?

Are you rehousing or passing cable out the enclosure, sans-jack style?
It's time to buy a gun. That's what I've been thinking.
Maybe I can afford one, if I do a little less drinking. - Fred Eaglesmith

I am rehousing in a cornish style board. So just wiring to the next pedal.

I just dont know if its worth buying that pedal... or building one. I really love the sound of the microvibe. From what i understand its a "real" copy of the old univibe. I love how its all smokey and thick... nothing like the dunlop
