I wonder if one of these might work well on the input of a Range Master? Rather than a switched capacitor as in the Java Boost.

Jack, I appreciate the way you cut through the (unnecessary) jargon used by pseudo-experts.

the frequency response is totally flat as if the capacitor is not in the circuit, which it isn't because the two ends of C1 are shorted together in that position

High drive with treble cut or low drive with treble boost.

How do you work out the frequency of the max treble boost given by those controls? I'm getting the max roll off but I'm getting incorrect values for treble boost
