Hi, I was just wondering what other folks do, I normally use some form of booster after my chosen drive pedal for solos, sometimes a Boss graphic or my GGG Boutique Boost, is there any advantage by putting the booster before the drive pedal instead of after, would the booster push the pedal more, i'll probably try it but was curious to other peoples opinions.
When i get the drive sound i like i usually like it for solos only louder thats why i put the boost after the drive pedal(i used to use a Schaller volume pedal for this purpose) anyway i hope you get what i mean, Crawf.

a tubescreamer with a boosterr slamming the input can be nice.

Depends on what solo sounds you like. Some look for nice chuggy power chords and high-gain long-sustain solos, that's when you connect the booster in the front. If you want to keep the tone you're using and just make it plain louder, your way is the way to go.

Hi, thanks for your replies, i tried it tonight in the house albeit very quietly but i see the difference.  i'm gigging tomorrow night so i'll have a booster before my drive and my graphic after and i'll see what i like the best, cheers Crawf.

I use my Mini Booster before my drive pedals and my Mosfet Booster after my drive pedals. The best of both worlds.  ;D
