Is there any replacement for these transistors:2N5088,2N3904 and J201?And if there is,the distortion will be same or different?

These are some of the most common transistors used in DIY stompboxes, so I suggest you go buy a bunch of each of them. I haven't built this circuit, but I think it can probably work with just about anything (as long as you replace PNP with PNP, NPN with NPN, FET with FET, etc.

Go check the article on the Professor Tweed and other stompboxes at www.runoffgroove.com to find some suggestions for different FETs to try.

Use sockets for all transistors. Then you can try different types easily to see how they affect the sound (and more importantly, you can turn them around when you inevitably get them in there backwards...)
