Anyone ever get all the bugs worked out of the Wobbletron?

After a search I've read many experiences of varying success. Was wondering if anyone got the circuit functioning perfectly.

It's a "wobbley" sound.....I can't think of any other way to describe it.....useless other than for novelty really.  :icon_confused:

It is true vibrato then? And it functions properly? Any chance of a soundclip?  :-*

It's a subtle vibrato like you get from a phase 45 if you set the mix 100% wet. Like Tim says on his site It only really sounds like a vibe at higher speeds at slower ones the effect disapears.
It works OK, when I built it I got a bit of thump from the LFO at higher speeds but that could have been my building skills at the time, it was only the second thing I ever made. I'm afraid I haven't got any sound clips, I dismantled it for parts a while ago.
If you build it and you don't like it remove C1 and it makes a nice tremolo.

Oh ok, so the standard values work then?

Is the circuit at all worthy of looking into or just a lump of useless components without any hope?

I don't reccomend it.
Like I said, it's kind of a "Novelty" effect. It's cool, it's fun but, Not Real USEFUL!
If you want Vibrato, the VibraTone is where it's at!  :)
