Mono and Stereo Input

Hi friends,
I know its a little off topic but...
I just made two lm3886 amp modules and want to
put them together like a stereo amplifier. My doubt
is about the mono and stereo input.

Stereo is all ok, two independent amps, two independent
speakers as output and two independent connections to
tip and ring at input.

Mono is the problem...
Can I use a mono input just connecting the two
module inputs with the tip? There are some problem
with this solution (input impedance?) ?
