The scaled down tonestack uses a 2.5k pot for the mid control. Since I'm using 16mm pots, would a 2k pot be close enough? I know that is a 20% difference, but would it be audible?
Would a 5k be too much?

Thanks,
- Buck

Use a 5K-B ( linear) pot with a 5K resistor across the outer lugs. This will give you 2.5K as your mid pot.
