That is excellent! If I could make PCB's and was up for a project that hard, I'd definitely give it a shot  ;)

Looks great !!!   8)
Thanks a lot!

How do you like it (e.g. tracking)?

Cool!

I have an original; great pedal. Tracking is just OK. It tracks fine even on the lower strings

I agree, tracking is the best of the ones I've tried. Here's a few soundsamples:

Many thanks!! I would love to have this pedal, but just need to get my courage up dealing with those surface mount chips and ultra tight traces. This is a great challenging project!

For information.
I've been going over the layout with Paul Ruud, he found some errors in the layout. Those will be corrected in time.
Sorry about that, if anyone allready etched the boards let me know and I'll guide you through what has to be done.

I like the idea of surface mount stuff, it saves a lot of space. But I don't see how you solder these part to a board? Do you need special equipment? It would guess that my regular soldering iron would make a mess of things.

It is doable, get a soldering tip about the same width as the pins of the IC:s, a steady hand and a good eye.

Hi! about the errors in the layout: the schematics are correct? can i use it for build an alternative layout (i want to use standard IC and mount it in the copper side)?

I've make a layout based (...heavy based..) on your layout but for standard ICs (ever mounted in the copper side).

You can find it here:http://www.fennecelectronics.it/smf/index.php?topic=2553.msg28991#msg28991

(sorry...is in Italian :) )

Fennec's forum recently has had some database problems, maybe this is the cause of the message :icon_neutral:
