Combination of a more well-biased germanium push-pull fuzz (remember?) and a "frequency-controlled tape saturator" as transfo sim.
After a study of power amp push-pull stages I discovered the original push-pull fuzz didn't have an "external" output bias, which should be there. think of the power or gnd in the middle of the output transformer... The circuit as shown creates a virtual +4.5V and -4.5V with the mid bias as 0V.

Still must complete it... I wonder...
A typical treble booster in front is welcome...

How does this circuit sound? Any sound samples?

No. No samples. It is still design. Working on it.
EDIT NOTE: 1nf cap in series with diodes should be much higher (330nf-470nf).

Update: first version input biasing was a flaw.

The thing seems to be quite close to the "Tripple Fuzz" by Tim Escobedo?

similar but different. This circuit is a throw for a well-biased, non or less crossover distortion pushpull stage, followed by a treble clipper.
Less splatty.  ;D
