This may a simple question for some but I haven't a clue.
Can I use  a simple TL072 opamp with a supplyvoltage of only 5 volts , or may a symetric  supply of  + and -
2.5 volt ?
If not what opamp will do the job ?

Thanks  Gez,

I think that one will do.
A friend of mine needs one to make a currentsensing device and wants to use the supply voltage of a computer.
