proco rat sound clip

hi,
anyone have a sound clip of the rat? cause i build one and i dont really like the sound of it, it sound like a pillow is in front of my amp, maybe a problem with the tone.....

any clue...

ok , so i compared the sound, and mine is less tone.... (i already done the mod from kealy)

the only thing is instead of 30PF i put a 47PF (didn't have 30pf) for the cap of the lm308
can it be the problem ?

  30pf to 47pf rolls off just a teeny bit more highs I guess, not that big of a jump.
  someone posted recently about Rat Mods, and particularly posted a link to the Ruetz Mods for Rat, I used a 1k where the 47ohm was under the bypass cap, pretty nice mod for Rat, II heard correctly it is making good adjustable HF content, possible to get excess of what stock rat does or stock.
  Also mentioned was using BMP tone control topology.
  The thing I notice about the Rat is that there's a midrange 'snork' to it [midrange hump a little like wah %^&*ed, or plugged nose tone..
  viosly depends on all it depends on outside the circuit, I'm getting nice mileage from a modded DIST+, it's more open sounding.

just found that i put a 10uf cap instead of 1uf at the output before the volume pot....
must wait to get home to fix and try...
