Matt,

I just checked the voltages on my Shaka and yours are right on.  The tone control is pretty extreme - if you dime it, it will be very bright.  I tried out the tone control (as well as a few other changes) from the Shaka4 and like it much better now.

Good luck!

I would listen to the output of the op amp before the diode clippers.

Then triple check that you have the MOSFETs wired correctly. Then I would listen to the signal at the gate of the minibooster. Finally, I would  listen to the output of the minibooster (before the tone stack). And lastly after the tone stack.

The Shaka Braddah III should give a fusion-like sound.

stumper1, thanks for checking the voltages  :icon_biggrin: The circuit (of mine) is not right. I try to record a sound sample tomorrow to show how it sounds.

I will check and test the circuit tomorrow with the audioprobe on different spots. I just noticed that I have the effect at work and I have no recording equipment in there. After the day after tomorrow I'll record the effect on different spots to demostrate the state of the circuit.

Btw. I already made two pcb's (GEOFEX) for the Shaka Braddah III. I'll start collecting parts for it now ;D
