QuoteAny chance of getting a custom comp by itself?
Yes. As Push mentions, the new Comp66 is just the compressor side of the Route 66. We split out the two halves of all the dual pedals with the exception of the echo side of the H20. As yet I'm not happy with the sound of the echo unit in the small box.

We also introduced a new dual, the Double Trouble, which is two of the overdrives in one pedal. This is one where we can save some players pedalboard space, because it's become popular to use two tube screamers in series. This gives you that setup plus more output and a selectable (and defeatable) noise gate for the two in a single housing that's smaller that two singles. 'Course, you could also buy two single Route 808s for the same configuration minus the noise gate if you like.

The new pedals are all in die cast aluminum houses. This let us put an upsweep on the non-stomp end so it's downright hard to break the knobs off. We also got rid of the stomp switches and went to custom cast actuators. You can stomp all you like and not injure the actual switch under that actuator. This makes them - we hope! - a lot sturdier under gigging use. We've actually had a few returned for service with all the knobs broken off by a particularly enthusiastic stomp. 8-)

Supply is a little limited, as we are just now getting volumes from the factory. We're hand-testing the first batches we get to ensure that the factory testing is giving us the right coverage, so that's slowing things up a bit, but it's necessary. There are always gotchas in any new line startup. Back at Uncle Business Machines we could always tell the manufacturing engineers - they were the guys with the gray hair and a haunted look in their eyes while still in their 20s.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Right on! Thanks for the heads up guys!  :D  Looks like places are saying mid-Nov. arrival. Hmmm, early Christmas present sounds about right! Looks like you've been busy cookin' up new designs.

I loved the comp of the route 66,  and the echo on the h20.  I wanted those two in one enclosure!!

I can dream.
Try a little tenderness.
