Hey guys

I have been trying to find a sutable delay that can get close to the old Binson Echorec type of delay unit. I know its a very distinct delay and there are not a lot of copies out there.
I was wondering if either the AD-3190 or the PT-80 could be changed a little to get close to the binson. Obviously I know it wont be exact or have the same tone. I heard Line 6 made the echo pro that had the "echo platter" that did a decent creation. So trying to make something to just be a decent copy of a Binson Echorec would be awesome.

Thanks Guys

I have the last version of the Echorec (solid state EC-3) and though the tone of the echo is pretty unique, I'm pretty sure that you could mimic it with filtering of the echo signal of another delay. The distortion of the tube Echorec is pretty cool, though. I still swear that the 5-knob Deluxe Memory Man is the greatest echo ever made. The way the preamp overloads and the modulation you can add to the delay... it's hard to beat!

Hi Msurdin
another floyd addicted eh?  ;)
Want you replicate the Binson sound?  me +1
I think a pt2399 based echo multiplied x4 as the Binson head and with
a multiple feedback and a multiple switches to on/off the "heads".
I don't know how make this but I'm thinking about it.
What you do you think?
