boss sd1 help .. switching problem

sirs.. i need your help on repairing my boss sd1 .... whenever i switch it on it has this warm up before turning on completely.. and when it does turn on it sounds weird.. it never sounds the same..... anyway .. what parts do i need to replace?? or how do i make it to true bypass ?? which parts do i need to remove?? but the true bypass is not what i want.. i just want to repair the switching circuit.. as much as possible i do not want to change it to true bypass.. thanks in advance .. hope you experts can help me out..

Did you check your battery?

i don't use a battery.. i use a custom made psu.. and i can confirm that it is in perfect condition.. so no problem with the power supply..

its just the switching 
