Hello,

I've tried that trick that Geoffrey Teese pointed out, where you use a 0.33uF capacitor rather than the 0.22uF capacitor that comes off the wiper lug (middle, correct?).  Actually, I did what TBOM suggested - soldering a 0.1uF in parallel to the 0.22uF capacitor on the bottom of the board.
I am not really noticing any real difference.  Is it a subtle one?  I even tried soldering one leg of the 0.1uF, so I could quickly connect the other leg to hear what it sounds like with it on and off, and even listened at different sections of the pot being rotated.  I am not really hearing a difference.

FWIW - 80's crybaby, hotpotz 100k, modded with true bypass, Q, vocal, bass & gain, midrange.
