by click I mean does have a spot where it sticks until you let go of it?

well, it will have a contact point, where it's on, like a doorbell.  If you hold it there, yeah, it stays on (if it's a 'momentary on' switch).   If it's momentary off, the opposite happens.   But it won't latch and stay in the 'other' position....normally open or normally closed, know what I mean?  That's why it's called 'momentary'.

It really depends on the switch.
Some click but spring back when you let go of them. Some you push and no click, then spring back when you let go.
You can also have a SPDT momentary which will spring back when switched both ways.
