Recommendations for a fuzz build

Hi all.  I'm looking for a fuzz to build that can sound like that Smashmouth song "Walking On The Sun" - squarewave-ish with not too much sustain.  I'd also like it to be able to feed back and oscilate on it's self.  Is there a circuit that will do that, that's shared openly and won't step on anyone's patent toes?

Well, seeing as there's a lot of heat surrounding ripping someone else's commercial design, can ayone suggest something LIKE that?  That seems like a basic fuzz face with the resisters (bias etc...) brought out to pots.  Any suggestions for a design to use?
