Hi,
I've seen a few posts on the DOD fx-17 wah/volume pedal.
I have one of these and I noticed that when it's set to wah mode, if I have it bypassed the signal is weaker than my original signal (without the FX-17 in my signal chain). Any idea anyone for a fix to this problem?
I uploaded the schematic here:

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried adjusting the two trimpots that are in the front (accessible with a small flathead screwdriver)?

Yes, I have adjusted the trimpots at the front. When the pedal is in "Volume mode" I get the signal the way I adjusted it. No problems there.
The problem is when the pedal is in "Wah mode". Again if the wah is ON, the signal is as I adjusted it. But when I have it in bypass (while still remeining in  "Wah mode") the signal is weaker than my straight guitar to amp signal. To make sure that I was right,
I measured it through my signal level meter. It is not a massive difference but there is a difference of more than 1db.
The above mentioned trimpots affect the behavior of the pedal when in "Volume mode" or when in  "Wah mode" and active. They have no effect when the pedal remains in  "Wah mode" but bypassed. Maybe the volume drop I get has something to do with the buffering of the pedal(???). If this is the case, would that be something reasonably easy to fix?
Thanks for your input.
