Veroboard question

Hi all, I was about to try my first vero project, and i just had one noob question, but pretty major. When you're looking at the layout, are you looking at the strip side with the components on the "back", or are you looking at the component side with the strips on the "back" . Basically, if you were looking at the layout as a 3d opaque object, what would you see

well that explains the complete failure of my led veroboard test :) On to tube screamer...the right way

also im sorry if this is already in a faq somewhere...i couldnt seem to find it. If it isnt, it might be a good thing to add  :icon_wink:

Yes, you're looking down on the top of components "through the board" to the copper strips on the reverse.
It's a bit "odd" at first but when you are used to it, they are a dream to use ... I use 'em for almost anything but the
larger builds .... PCB makes complex builds a LOT smaller BTW !!

But as I always say, you are in control of veroboard builds rather than someone else's pcb (baby!!! thanks Adam Faith!)
