Anyone use any of the ROG amps with a talkbox?

I've got a Dunlop/Heil talkbox, and I've always just used it with my main rig (5150), but I think it sounds better with a lower-power setup.

Are any of the ROG 386 amps enough to get ample volume out of the talkbox?

Or if not, possibly a bridged Ruby, for instance?

Any opinions or experience would be helpful.

Thanks.

My experience is that a Ruby or bridged Ruby is sufficient for recording, but not for use in a live band setting.  I had to graduate to a 10W chip amp before I could make it work with a band.  Others have expressed similar experience in the past (there are many threads on this if you search).

see my recent talkbox amp thread. the schem is in the 3886 datasheet and the mods i did are described in the thread.

Thanks, guys.

Sorry, I've had a crazy day, and didn't even think to search... my head's somewhere other than etiquette lol.

Thanks again.

if you decide to build the same amp as i did i have a pcb layout for it.
