Adding some mids to my EHX Big Muff

I have a recent EHX Big Muff (US version) and I want some more mids. How would I go about this?

And if anyone wants to tell me how the noise gate mod works that would be nice seeing as I can't get it to work. EDIT: I got the "Noise Gate" to work . I spent all this time getting it to work and the result is crap. It is a terrible mod it does nothing but suck gain and make you make out the knobs. I decreases the noise the slightest bit. What a waste of time. I guess since I have a hole in the side and a SDDT I will try out the feedback mod next.

Oh and I also added a 5mm Water Clear high brightness LED (I also added a 10K limiter). When the pedal has no lead in the input the LED does nothing at all. When a lead is inserted into the input and the pedal is not turned on though it seems like the LED turns a light shade of green. And when the pedal is activated I get the normal blue. Any ideas why I am getting this green?
