tda2050 current consumption

i have a db206 bridge rectifier, datasheet says it has a maximum average forward current of 2A, is this enough to power a tda2050 ?

According to the datasheet, the 2050 can draw up to 5A, at which a point its internal limiting circuitry kicks in.  I would recommend a beefier rectifier, especially if you plan on running the chip aggressively.
