I am using the layout from http://gaussmarkov.net/layouts/redllama/redllama-project.pdf

C1       .068uF         gm-caps-film-box
C2       51pF           gm-caps-ceramic
C3       100pF          gm-caps-ceramic
C4       .033uF         gm-caps-film-box
C5       10uF tantalum  gm-caps-tant
C6       330uF          gm-caps-electro-pol

I figured it would be ok if I used poly-film for C1 - C4. And made C5 and C6 both electrolytic. (is that ok?). Has anyone substituted C2 and C6 because I can't find them anywhere!? I did find C6 at partsexpress.

You can try the nearest value for C2, 47pf or 56pf.  330uf polarized caps shouldn't be too hard to find, but you can always parallel 3 x 100uf caps, it would be the same thing.  (or any values that add up to 200-300uf) Happy building!

It doesn't have to be 330uf, just something big. Nearest value for caps, yup.

Some notes regarding C5 that was discussed extensively in a previous thread:

I've heard Mr. Huge claims only a tantalum cap sounded right to him in that position, not sure how true that is or not.

An interesting dilemma I found with that cap is the bigger the value, the better the effect sounds when used on a guitar's bridge pickup, but the worse (muddier) it sounds on a neck pickup.  I think I settled on .068uf (big change from the stock 10uf).  Have some fun there.

I paralleled two 100's for C2 and used a 470 for C5.
