Porting schematics to breadboard while eyeing a perf layout: ball of confusion..

Ok, so i made my first pedal, a blues breaker. Etched my pcb and all, had about every possible noob problem in the book(far from fresh battery, lifted traces from desoldering, a 47 in place of a 47k, the works and then some...)

So I thought I might have taken a bigger bite than I should for a first project. so for my second I decided to go with something simpler and introduce myself to the joys of breadboarding (no joke I really thought it would be wonderfull...)

I chose the RoG Multi-Face 'cause it's got lots of room for experimentation with transistor swapping.

It's not working out, burned a finger last night (that transistor is toast right ?)

Could some one breadboard the circuit and take a picture of what it's suppose to look like ? I understand the basics about the power busses and every little row of 5 contigous holes being connected. I just don't get the direction. Actually, i could trace the signal all the way to the first resistor lead before the 10k trim pot, using my audio probe.

Help !!!

An audio probe or a continuity meter will tell you which way the connections go. There is a form of stripboard which has the same layout.
