Help with wiring the mosfet booster please?

The page got taken down and I'm in kind of a hurry...


I have the PCB done, but I don't get how to wire it. There's an output called 'LED' which throws me out (does it mean I don't need a LED resistor? How do I wire it up?) and I have a bunch of bypass diagrams, all different...I also don't have any instructions on how to wire the gain pot

You dont NEED to put a led in, if you're in a hurry...

i think the led resistor is already on the pcb.

connect the gain pot by soldering pin 1+2 together and then to ground, and solder pin 3 to the pad that says gain, i think. either that or the other way round.(2+3 soldered together and to ground and 1 to gain - only difference is the direction the gain pot rotates)

Yeah figured out the pot...I'm still a bit lost on the rest though. I know the in, out, there's only one ground though, which I connected to the input jack. Should I also connect the grounds from input to output?

Ok making progress. LED is still not wired up though. Bypass signal works, non bypass signal is inexistent.



Yeah I'm stumped. I really got no clue on how to wire this and I need to be finished in half an hour... Bypass signal is fine, nothing happening when I stomp. Still no LED either.

Check datasheet what mosfet your using that layout is for BS170 but if your using 2n7000 turn mosfet 180 degree.
