I am working on getting the parts for my first project ( coloursound/Sola Sound Tone bender Fuzz) and I found the Vero layout Lowstar posted a while ago.

So I am trying to make mine similar.  First off, I was wondering what the Q's stand for ( yes I am a newbie). I assume Tansistors, and I know they should be silicon but I can't find them anywhere.

Also, the red dots in red squares, no clue what those are.

Any help appreciated, I want to try to get this pedal done soon.
Thanks

Yes, those are transistors. Where are you located? Mouser has the BC184C

Those are breaks. You want to cut the strip there, by drilling or with a knife. There are specialized tools to do this too.

mouser?

I am in florida.

Ah breaks, okay, I see that now.

Thanks for the help!

Watch out for the break under R13 too. Not the obvious one under the top lead--there's one directly underneath that's hard to see. And one underneath C14 as well.
