Rehoused Standard Fuzz Wau? I'd love to see a gut shot of that. I have a pcb around here somewhere.

Here's my home maid job that has a top with butterfly latches and a Llamda labmotory grade DCsupply and
a little trap door affair to house the Countryman DI box. It's holding a few of my older FX and the controller
for the Mesa Formula Pre in my rack.

Here's the PT Pro with an assortment of dirt and glitchy bits for feeding the FX loop in the Mesa which in turn feeds the
Eventide Eclipse also seen in the rack action figure.

From the Mesa out put signal goes below to a P/P 6V6 amp I built to provide a fundamental rock tone as it feeds the two
Tone Tubbies housed in an old Sunn cab.The stereo image is provided for by an Express at stage right and a Komet 60
staGE LEFT.

I'm currently digging my Trussart Steelcaster and Epi Sheraton though we'll see who's who in the zoo when I finish re-wiring
my Les Paul with the PAFs and bumble bee tunas. You'll not hear me complain about my gear for at least a while, ;)

It's not an actual rehouse, I was given the knobs and faceplate by my cousin. They were the last remains of an old Wau Wau Fuzz. The insides of my pedal are my own vero layout from this schematic. I'd post my layout but I haven't got a place to upload it at the moment. Same goes with the gut shot.

That's cool. Thanks anyway.

I made the fuzz part in a couple boxes already. With the hardware there, I thought you'd gutted a real one.

Heh, that scheemo is from my site!

WHY on EARTH would you be using that rackmount Mesa preamp when you could be using that GEM of a Blackface Bassman! If it's just sitting around and you don't want it, I'd gladly give you 20 bucks for it...

Jacob

Ben N

That, sir, is no blackface Bassman, no, no.
That, sir, is a brownface Bassman, which is a Horse of a Different Color! Just ask Aron... or Brian Setzer.
IMHO, however, that is not an amp you plug a long string of fx into. That is an amp you plug a cable into, the other end of that cable being plugged into an electric guitar. Then you turn the volume up as high as you can stand, season to taste, and wail.
That is all.

I'll give you 25 bucks for the Trainwreck...

Apparently Ben N. knows what time it is! The instrument I most like plugged in my '62 Bassman is my 1956 ES-125. It
is the source for the audio portion of my psychobilly freakout. The set-up is the only one the allows me to crank the
amp and not generate massive, howling feedback. Oddly enough. ???

DougH, That's a very generous offer I'm sure but for now my Mom says I have to turn you down. According to the
brochure, mother's know best. Besides that old amp is pretty loud. :icon_wink:

Thanks for looking gang!

Aw, shucks, Noel, thanks. BTW, I do have a silverface Bassman (AB865, methinks), that I love dearly, an amp with great tone and real authority (and a fine way with pedals), but it doesn't have quite the growl of those luscious blonds. Some day, some day...

No feedback with an ES-125? Did you stuff that thing with a year's worth of dryer lint or something? BTW, is that a pre-cutaway 125?

Turbo Tuner > Dynacomp w/clean blend > Little Green Wonder > Phase 90 > Systec Harmonic Energizer > Tonebender MKII > custom Timmy > Dyna Red Distortion > Screw Driver Dlx > Green Bomb fuzz > Honey Bee OD > (Cornish) G2 > Trembulator optical trem > CE2 > Aquapuss > GGG Reverb

Almost all DIY's except for the Timmy and tuner.  Switches are about as far apart as the ones on the Line 6 short board.

Nice board! Gotta have good memory with that amount of unlabeled knobs though!

It's not too bad if you follow a semi-logical knob layout pattern for most things.  Volume on the left, gain on the right, tone in the middle takes care of most dirt pedals.  Plus since I built the pedals I'm more familiar with the functions than someone who picks up a pedal at a music store to try it out.  :icon_wink:

some homemade and some store brought

Ben N

Kev77, based on your pedal board I conclude (a) that you are a guy who REALLY likes delay, and (b) you wear pointy-toe shoes. :)

Pedalboard built out of a briefcase. Red pedal is a two-in-one boost (lpb-1 and screaming bird) the blue one is a trotsky drive. Keeley ds-1 modded by me with circuit bend. Black box is a switchbox. I have parts coming in for a buzzbox which will be my first 1590a build. Amp is a Cube 30.

With my guitar, Zeula...btw, i love coily cords.... ;D

Let me see if I can manage to post my very first pic and introduce some of my (very) humble work.

I that above worked what you see is my small, 'working' pedalboard that is actually a pedal bag with some most used ones inside. From lower right side (CW) BSIAB2, Rebote delay 2.5, Fraverb (a bit modified), Condor CabSim, Polytune TC electronics, Sansamp gt2 (that I with a lot of fantasy call: SimAmp hehe) and a stock ts808. Outside is just a crybaby and boss me70 that I use on other channel just as looper (when I play at home to have some backing 'track').

This is another one, which is 'big one'. I made this, first as a pedalboard than it became just a storage place for my pedals :). From lower right (CW):
Marshall bluesbreaker II, MXR noise gate (that I call Silencio), Tremulus lune,  Damage Control Demonizer, Valvecaster, Ibanez Fat Cat, MXR Envelope Filter, Fuzz face, Ross Compressor, EH Holy Stain, Ross Phaser, Ts808 with some mods, another ts 808 (the black 'thingy') is one that I use as a reference build actually my first one!, MXR Distortion+, Boss Turbo Dist and DR.Boogie.

I think it's obvious which ones are bought (commercial pedals) other ones are made by me. I have some more all over the place or borrowed to friends like small clone (tonepad) and some others.
That is my pedalboard(s)!
Cheers
