Will get a makeover soon but for now... The board is made from an old BBQ.  ;D

Hi folks, I'm new here. Seemed more appropriate to introduce my pedalboard than myself. There's a lot of boss stuff on there at the mo, but I have a few home made things that will be pushing their way on there in the near future. The board sits in my studio, so the heavyweight timber is not an issue.

I've been getting into building a few of my own pedals, so I thought i'd sign up here and maybe learn something!

Why should you not have 90o angles? Do the electrons bunch up in the corners?

Mac Walker

For my money, this one sounds better than the orange version.  Much louder and cleaner sounding, especially for huge applause tones.....

My almost all DIY pedalboard.

Signal chain:Switcher(tuner/effects)-Autowah-Compressor-Phaser-Booster-Acoustic Simulator-Fuzz-OD-Boost-Chorus-Delay-PS3(delay).
Will still add noise gate at the front, active volume control after the 2nd Boost and Cabinet Simulator last after PS3.

Have enough delay pedals there? I count 5 (delay & echo). Anyone have names for the 4 pedals on the right bottom row? and the one on the right of the middle row?

Finally someone else with a black 13!

Mintberry Crunch!

I'll probably post some of mine at some point, but it's still a work in progress.

Those are Cloudscapes' own pedals. Lots of sequence, glitch, trem, delay stuff. Search through his posts or check out his blog: http://soniccrayon.blogspot.com/

Middle row, right - looks like a tremulus lune.

Hey... someone stole my pedalboard, and it looks an awful lot like yours...  :icon_wink:

(or I misplaced it... things are hard to see, kinda crappy... pedals always fall out. I don't miss it. You can keep it.)

not a board per se
Give a man Fuzz, and he'll jam for a day... teach a man how to make a Fuzz and he'll never jam again!

Kramer 450b -> Modded Madbean Afterlife Compressor (I LOVE THIS COMPRESSOR, added an attack control) -> Looper (1st loop: Killswitch-> Tap Tempo Tremolo -> 4MS Noise Swash Clone, 2nd loop Deluxe Memory Man) Looper Output -> DL8 for looping -> Peavey RockMaster high gain input with distortion channel on.

It's cool to see my builds turn up in the strangest of places!

Not that your board is strange... just that it's unexpected to see that pedal (which I haven't seen in well more than a year) turn up again.

Thanks!

I got it on Ebay from some shop in Nevada I think, when I got it someone had cranked the LED brighness trimmer all the way up (blinding!) and the effected volume/vs bypass was off. When I opened the back, I saw musicpcb.com on the board, which helped me find the build PDF to fix the problems, and that actually got me interested in making my own DIY FX.

The pedal is working great BTW, once I re-adjusted the trim pots inside. I use it all the time.

Cool story! Think I'll have to wait another decade for something similar. All I know is that one of my pedals ended up in Indonesia...He was migrating there and left all his music gear behing...except one guitar, one amp and my pedal!

Hi eccmac, very nice and technically interesting pedalboard - would you mind to tell a bit about pedals and topology maybe? Cheers, T.
