What is this pedal worth??? Never seen one.

I have heard of this but never seen one till the other day, so i bought it.
What do these run and are they any better.

Green Muffs are typically in the $150-$200 range these days.

Good sounding pedals.

The green Sovtek Muffs are from the mid-90's, I believe. The earlier ones were tan and had a different silk screen. The one in your photo looks to be of the last version that still had the huge crazy Russian footswitch, but had the later graphics.

If these things are worth $200 then my original op-amp BMP must be worth what, $1200?

I have three or four of the Russian ones, and one of the earlier Russian ones. I think I might pay off my mortgage!

I think you can still find these things everywhere in the US for around $40-$50. Sometimes cheaper.

yeah i had one too, for bass. Sounded fantastic. Then someone stole it. I have lost too many good pedals to thieves- Budda Zenman ($250- ouch!) Line 6 Liquiflange, and a couple others as well. I hate them.

I don't know if they are all like it, but mine had the wackiest stomp switch you can imagine - a two pole switch, then a mechanical link to a piggyback extra switch for the led!! All looking like it belonged to a WW2 tank. A Russian tank, that is.

Oh, the pinout of the switch was pretty 'special' too!

The seller probably says about what you paid for it.
10 at a garage sale or broken.
Probably 50+ when it works, depends on the condition of the seller etc.
More or less than that if modded, especially if you need a DC jack.
Certainly worth improving on any weaknesses it may have, that looks like one of those solid metal type cases which fascilitates easier repairs and modifications.

Depends on which one - it could be alot. Look around on ebay and see if you can find one like yours.

That's crazy. I got one new when that model came out. It sounded terrible until I modded the heck out of it. Now it sounds wonderful

I should have sold it and made another. Oh well.

There will never be any agreement on what ANY pedal is worth, because different people give different weightings to the different factors :
1. how useful it is for THEIR music
2. how cute it looks, to THEM
3. how much money THEY can spend on a pedal
4. how much THEY care about cosmetic damage, original packaging etc.

I bought one of those when they came out. Sold it to my friend for $30 about 10 years ago. He still has it, and I'm trying to get it back. I don't remember really liking it. But I want to give it another shot.

Absolutely correct.

The "value" of something is "whatever somebody is willing to pay for it".

Thats why I linked all the "closed" auctions...pretty wide range of pricing, but is a realistic idea of what to expect on the open market.
