Some of the Atari punk sounds make me think of that funky keyboard in " Icky Thump". The thing is that they seem to be random noises......is there any way to feed a guitar signal in there for signal control.
If not, what would you guys recommend for that keyboard sound on the guitar. it sort of reminds me of the tones gotten by Edgar Winter's Frankenstein with that funky "wearable keyboard'.
The tones are violin like with lots of fuzz/sustain.......its an analog keyboard! :icon_twisted:

On the topic of the APC, does anyone have a link to the schematic. I'm possibly a little too retarded with the search function and can never find it

the thing used in icky thump is called a stylophone... google it.

if you want that sort of sound, but controlled by your guitar, then what you are after is called a bit crusher effect. it takes the sample rate down to old game console rates. search for bitcrushers in the forum and google. if you are on a mac then there's a really cool one in garage band.
