Is MarkM's NTE458 version of Dragonfly's Sparkle Boost right?

somebody please check me on this?  here's the layout link: Dragonfly Sparkle Boost (NTE458)

i think the transistor is shown backwards.  my reasoning is that the pinout of the NTE458 is DGS, viewed from the
top with the flat side down.  if that's correct, then Mark has the drain connected to R4 which is going to ground
and the source connected to a trimmer that is going to +9V.  :icon_confused:

i'm not planning on building this, but i was just poking around and that struck me as wrong.  i believe the layout has
been verified, so i'm confused.  the J201 version looks correct to me.  i thought it was better to check and avoid
possible problems for someone else.

thanks, gm

I'm buying a etched PCB of this very layout. So the NTE458 is backwards and I'll need to rotate it around?
