Rat chip question

What other chips can swap for a lm308 in a rat ?  I don't want to make any mods
or have to reconfigure pins, just a straight swap. Want to see what tone differences are.

You can choose any single op-amp, for example LM741, TL071(in this case you have to remove the 30pF Cap between pin 1 and pin 8), NE5534(30pF cap removed), some Burr Brown single opamp.

actually, you don´t NEED to remove the 30pF cap..with LM741 is just out of the circuit...

TL 070 can be used also. It uses Pins 1 & 8 for frequency compensation, so the cap will be active on this chip.
