Guys i just realised i don't clearly understand one thing: how does the bias voltage get on the base of Q1 in Si Fuzz Face NPN circuit?

Is it through the Q2 emitter -> feedback resistor?
I built that on my breadboard and when i built the first stage, the base bias (Q1) was 0V. When a added the second stage it was 0.5V, where 0.6V was on emitter Q2 and 100mV on the feedback resistor.
Does any current/voltage drop happens on the C->B of the Q1. All the books explain B-E and C-E junctions but i haven't found much info on C-B junction.
