compare the prize... 8)

yep.. heaps better price.. I suspect for me shipping to NZ would balance that out though.. and I usually buy at least 10 per time, so it's only 50% more expensive for me...   they really are pretty good jacks. much better build than the cheaper futurlec ones I've tried.. very happy with them :-)

thats cheating, you have to use 24mm pots and massive jack sockets, and a huge 12mm dc socket too in a 1590a or it doesn't qualify.........by law!.. ;D

Here's the slightly naked LPB-1 that I managed to grab back off my tame guitarist for a short while:

No guts to speak of...  :(  Had some shorting problems, so it's mostly taped up inside!

Here's my layout for the LPB-1 with on board pot. The pot is supposed to go on the component side.

And the transfer.

My second 1590A... It's a Bajaman's Sonic Stump. I just shrinked Madbean's Bloviator layout (yeah, I had to put a resistor on the traces side, use a couple more jumpers and put the 10M input resistor in the switch, but anyway, it worked perfectly!)

And its guts!

Thanks a lot to Brian (Madbean) for the effort on the layout I just shrinked, it was very hard to shrink since Brian did a great layout for the pedal.

Cheers!

After spending a whole day trying to make a design, failing at the toner transfer 5 times and having my etch turn out like a complete piece of sh*t I see this.  :icon_eek:
