Great looking as well, Thomas. How about some gut shots?

Fantastic looking pedals, would definitely like to see some guts. Not that I'm critical of build quality or anything, but most of the pedals I see on here I have personally built (usually in a 125B or 1590BB) and I'm always curious to see what the guts look like a million times smaller :P

well, not the best shot, but easier to solder...

Thomasha, if you don't mind me asking, what type of enchant/resist combination do you use?
The fine details in the small print of that reverse etch are pretty incredible! :icon_eek:

Hi!
I'm using Ferric Chloride and toner, as in the tutorial posted by Slade.
Using a vector based software and a good resolution print also helped.

Pettol

My first reversed etch and my first A box too.
I used engine paint on this one. A bit difficult to spray, but it gets hard as a rock, rugged and solvent- and heat-resistant, which also makes toner transfer possible.

And oh, it's a tonebender with russian transistors.

davent

That came out great , first glance said laser etch, nicely done!

Alright, I think you've convinced me to put away my waterslides and get into etching.

Thanks a lot guys!  You're ever so kind.

Ah man, those are awesome! They are like the ultimate DIY looking pedal (IMO). Feeling inspired :)

peterg, are those boards all different? is there any/enough common to warrant a universal board or two? they look very neat.

Thanks guys.

Duck Arse - yes all the boards are different. - The Yellow Humper and the Purple Peaker are more or less the same but the YH doesn't have the high pass cap and resistor that the PP has. I should of used the PP board for both. I had to jerry-rig the YH to add an input impedance resistor since it was too loud other wise. Tonepad has all the circuits except the YH posted. I worked from the Tagboard vero layout to get the cap values for the YH. There is not enough similarities between the rest of the circuit to use one board.

Very nice little collection, peterg.  But the naked ones at the end did make me blush a little.   :icon_redface:

i like the way the 3pdt holds everything in place...well worth the extra pcb size   cool.
