I'm the water, why not just use a 'b', sacrilege?
dave
Oh I'm with you there Dave. Why push the river. After my inventory of pcbs are exhausted, I will probably be retiring the design (unless the manufacturer decides to reduce the size of the part sometime in the future).

Not sacrilege, I just get lost with all that space in a 'B'  ;)

All the praying happened during the pcb layout phase..... well, until I received the new bricks... but that was mainly swearing...
At $15-$20 per brick, it isn't worth having to modify them to fit. I'll be buying up all the original version BTDR-3s I can find :)

I just ordered a few from Smallbear a week ago and they're the old style...just letting you know, Steve seems to have them in stock.

Thanks Ryan
I just ordered from Steve and will probably continue until his are gone. I was ordering from Antique Electronic Supply because they are local and the least expensive I could find, but they have sold out of the old style.

This pedal is everything I love in a 1590A. It's simple but you know what it does, LED right in the middle, and a single knob with a chicken head. Love it.

Thank you, tried to make visually a bit retro! :)
The sound is also pretty cool.

I used to really be with it!  That is, until they changed what "it" is.  Now, I can't find it.  And, I'm scared!  --  Homer Simpson's dad

Here's the latest build/layout design. It's Merlin's Engineer's Thumb two knob version.
