Just a tip for you, those locking washers should go on the inside, not the outside. You are going to damage your paint.

tasos

i do the same and i have no problem...basicly if screwing the switch without them then the paint is scratched!
and it also looks so hardcore! ;D lol

^ thats why a lot of people use those horrible white plastic washers i guess!...nasty looking though!.. :)

thanks.

Actually most of my 1590A boxes dont get used much at this point.
I still need to have decals made and a finishing clear gloss paint.

I really hate the stock plastick washers that come with the switches.
Need to buy new large chromed ones.

then the locking washers will go inside I promise :)

I have 4more 1590A done now  :icon_biggrin:  But hedding out on vaycation in a few days.  pics when decals are done.

Do you 4 knob 1590Aers have drilling templates for your enclosures? That seems so hard!

4knob and even 6knob 1590A is easy as long as using 12mm or 9mm Alpha pots :)

no drilling templete needed.

Hallo everybody.
I post here my new effect just to show that my small addiction is still quite bad: this time it is just a super simple germanium booster (input cap, output cap (both 1uF), a resistor to ground, a pot, that's it). It is so simple that the circuit stays on a 1cm x 1cm perfboard, but it sounds good and it is a way to use bad and too leaky germanium transistors (the trannie is biased only by leakage); it can go from full frequency boost to just unity gain "buffer", anyway usefull and good sounding.
Of course it works only with the 9v battery, and no led, so i called it aleakysnob.
