If you side mounted those, you could PCB mount them, if you used the alphas with 90 degree PCB mount lugs you could also mount 3 in the top, I bet you could get 10 pots in there with some "creativity", plus, the could all be PCB mount.

I used a half way solution where the 2 PCB: are hooked up by wire.

Not finished yet, but I want some painting advice!

The one on the left is a chorus. And I am definitely using blue. At the moment I was thinking of adding a white stripe, lenghtwise along the middle of the entire pedal.
Any other good ideas?

Adhesive sheet for inkjet printer and some layers of clearcoat. A classic one

EA tremolo with a few minor mods to suit the components I had to hand.
It's been a while since I designed a PCB layout and to be honest, I was inspired by the other designs on here that put as much as possible on the board. IMHO it really is the way to go if you have board making equipment to hand.
Measuring the drill hole positions was a bit of a challenge, but I was lucky and everything fitted ok, apart from the pot holes which required filing. If anyone has any tips on accurate hole placement, I would really like to hear them!

Now, what colour to paint it......?

It is empty. But I have my examinations atm, so no time for etching the board. Layout is done and components are ready for soldering.
Since I already did the paintjob I decided to show off already.
