Where did you get those mini ones Dan?

If you're looking for mini chickenheads you might want to pick up some used rocktron pedals.  most of them have them and they also come in cool enclosures. 
This used to be a Rocktron Silver Dragon

Ta for the tip. Just today I was soldering a dr boogie and thought I really should start cleaning the flux off my boards!
Any suggestions for removing the stuff after it's been on the board a while?

It depends on the type of flux being used, but you could try warm soapy water on a toothbrush, a clean water or rubbing alcohol brushing, then dry off with an air compressor nozzle if available. This is assuming it's not assembled in a box, though...

1) That's a photoshop mockup
2) There's only one 1/4" socket.
3) The battery won't fit once there are two 1/4" jacks in there

it definitely looks like photoshop, but Peter didn't invent the EP-Pre, he cloned it when he saw that there was a market for it, and a reason for it's renowned tonal response. I've spoken with him at length about cloning it myself, I doubt he would care if another company made their version of it. Unless they used his PCB layout without permission, that is. But they don't show the board, so no need to jump to conclusions.

I'd like to know where to get transparent knobs as well!

I second that... That looks like a Davies #1510, but I sure can't find one in clear.
