This is not mine, but it needs to be seen:

Crikey!  And there's me whining about squeezing in only four pots and a little itty bitty postage-stamp size PCB...   :icon_rolleyes:

Yep, I'm with you Rob.  I'd have trouble enough with the amount of writing Jon puts inside the lid, let alone the pedal innards...

Pickdropper got a Little Angel Chorus AND Shoot the Moon tremolo in a 1590A. Six knobs and a switch, human-built SMD.

Here's his build report: http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=6956.0

Makes me feel like a wimp. :P

Hey Jon, thanks for posting that.

I think this is my first post here.  Probably going to hang out here a bit more.  I've paged through some of the picture threads and many of the builds are inspiring.

Wow.  You can shoot my moon anytime.  Bee-eautee.  Can't wait to try SMD someday.

how is the LDR/LED still clearing the bottom cover? looks like it would hit it?

There is a bit of a recess to the top cover, so it does fit.  The area that hit was actually the lip of the top on the edge of the PCB.  While it worked as is, it didn't give me warm fuzzies, so I took off much of the lip on a milling machine.  I also thinned the inside of the bottom plate a bit, just for good measure.  Fits really well now.

Have you tried checking out local trophy engraving shops?  Some I them will do it.

Sorry for the bad pictures.  I'll try and get something better when it isn't rainy and overcast.

This is a surface mount Timmy in a 1590A.

Another one, this time a surface mount/through-hole hybrid version of the Skreddy Screwdriver.

Not a lot of trophy engraving shops in Europe. We don't value prices and awards as much as they do in the states. Stunning builds though!  I still think I need to DIY that laser engraver.. I believe you don't need a lot of watts for this kind of engraving so we might get away with a diode instead of a tube (plus cooling system)
