Could you possibly share how much such a pcb costs to have made? I'm getting fed up with etching them myself and wouldn't mind just ordering them.

You squeezed it into a 1590A - you insane fool!  :icon_mrgreen:

Well this... this is just silly... this can't fit in a 1590B... can it? And you're not even using SMD you mad man!

If you are just looking for a board or two and they are small, the cheapest and best quality option is OSHPark, which will give you three copies of your board for $5 a square inch.  A board like the one pictured would probably be about $12 for 3 copies.

If you want small to medium runs (10-50 pcs or so)., there are places like iTeadStudio and Seed Studio that are popular and have VERY good pricing.  You'll pay less per board, but it takes a while to get the boards and shipping cost can factor in.

If you want to do larger runs, then your options really open up.

The "Codroach", an Astrotone/Sam Ash Fuzz.

@guitarmageddon  - that roach is very nice  :)

this approach is amazing.....got me thinking about moving in that direction....
nothing like the smell of hot Bovie in the morning....

fuzzymuff

just built Jack Orman Klon like buffer and using a madbean roadrage to power it up to "18 volts".  Lots of headroom and dynamics at this voltage.

Another Screwdriver, but with a different PCB layout this time.  For this one, everything other than the Germanium is SMT.  Since there is no BC109C in SMT, I changed it to a 5088.  It's a bit more aggressive and has more low end than my other Sonic Screwdriver, but it also uses a different Ge trans than the other one.

Pickdropper ...... you make sick pedals !!

Here's my very first pedal! I made a Super Hard On clone and decided to try and squeeze it all into a 1590a. It ended up coming out really nicely, I'm very happy with it http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/226401_10152666913780232_451395390_n.jpg

Hi there

this is my latest build, Little Angel by Frequencycentral, with LightEmittingBorder that, with a LED connected to IC2 pin1, flash it in time with the rate, and added a 3n3 cap from pin5 to gnd to get rid of some hiss. Hard to squeeze!!  Sorry for bad pictures... that's all I can get from my phone. Ciao

Regular true bypass FX looper. Perhaps nothing special but its my first 1590A usage.
As an extra, I have added measurements (in mm) on where I drilled the 1590A enclosure.

This is helpful. Thanks for the drilling measurements.
