A Veteran is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The United States of America
for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

Nice. I still can't find a 4580 chip for mine. I have a TLO72 in there at the moment, still sounds great.

Thanks G-man!
@Jeremy, I'm not convinced it will make a huge sonic difference, but at only 38c each they're cheep as...erm... chips. ;D

A project that I just completed was a mini-amp in a 1590A box for practicing. This tiny powerhouse can provide up to 5w, but 1w is closer to the practical power for a mostly clean output. I plan on plugging this into a 4×12 cabinet to see what it can do.

Can´t believe how small it is! Amazing! You guys rock!

Last few minis:

Tonebender MKII ... sorta.

"... Peanuts to Space" a 1590A Belton reverb. The PCB is actually a smaller footprint than the brick:

Madbean Zero Point Micro with the modulation rate knob external.

Don't do that!  Solder more!

:-)

Metal knobs, extremely clean laser etching, very classy, elegant boardwork inside... I knew it was PD's work before I even looked at the left column :)

Sir Robin!  (Nurse Quacky layout from ChuchBuick on BYOC).

The first pic is terrible and will be retaken at some point.  The whites bloomed quite a bit on the photo.  It's much sharper in person.

Thanks guys.

Btw, it isn't a Nurse Quacky, it's a Mutron III /Meadball hybrid that Harold at Sabrotone came up with.  I got it in my head early that this was derived from the Nurse Quacky circuit, but that isn't correct.

I actually use different soldering iron tips depending on the application.  I have 5 different tips I use, 3 of which are used on regular basis.  For SMT stuff, a finer tip does help.

There are so many astonishing builds in this threat that I just had to shrink something myself.

So, this is my first attempt on the small ones - the overdrive section of the box of rock. One of my first layouts so there certainly is room for improvements.
However, I'm fairly proud of it.

OK, so I didn't give up just yet...   ::)

Joe Davisson's "EZ-250" overdrive, and a Bazz Fuss on a Poodle's board.

You have good reason to be proud of it.  Looks great.  Dig that etch.
